In the painting production line, we usually use electrophoretic paint to coat the surface of the workpiece, and then it plays a role in maintenance and corrosion prevention. It is such a simple process that the coating effect may be adversely affected due to improper preparation of electrophoretic paint or improper operation of the process flow. In the application instructions of the coating production line, it is clearly stipulated that the relevant substances in the electrophoresis tank should be sorted regularly. However, some users do not pay attention to this. Once there are no rules for sorting or the time period is relatively long, it will result in a situation where the concentration of electrophoresis paint paste is too high. Secondly, if the color of the electrophoretic paint paste is not well dispersed, it will exhibit abnormal phenomena in the anti-corrosive electrophoretic paint, among which the more typical ones are the phenomenon of large particles of electrophoretic paint pigments and the problem of pigment aggregation in electrophoretic paint paste. Due to the rheological properties of the anti-corrosion electrophoretic paint used in the coating production line, after electrophoretic paint coating, the surface is not smooth and presents an orange peel phenomenon. This is also something that needs to be overcome to avoid a decrease in the coating quality of the workpiece. Of course, if there are problems with the internal crystal structure of the electrophoretic paint paste itself, it will also affect the surface glossiness of the electrophoretic paint after coating. For example, if the electrophoretic paint pigment crystals exhibit outstanding diamond angles, the coating will be fully leveled. But if the outstanding part of the crystal in the electrophoretic paint is restored to its normal length, the pigment crystal will also recover to the same standard size as other particles, which will greatly assist in improving the glossiness of the electrophoretic paint.
