Introduction To Maintenance And Care Of Vacuum Annealing Furnace

In order to reduce the occurrence of faults, we should pay attention to maintenance and upkeep in daily life. Let's take a look at the maintenance and upkeep introduction of vacuum annealing furnaces!
1. Before maintenance, operators should be familiar with the structure and performance of the electric furnace and its auxiliary equipment, the layout of the power distribution system and control system, the location of safety devices, operating processes, and safety operating procedures.
2. When using the trolley furnace equipment in daily life, it is necessary to check whether the power supply of the equipment is normal, whether there are power outages, short circuits, or bare wires, regularly check whether the grounding device wiring is in good contact, check whether the heating element is damaged, whether the contact at each connection is good, whether there is any contact with the furnace body and cover, check whether the temperature control system is abnormal, and check whether the furnace door lifting and trolley in and out operation are normal.
3. Workpieces containing corrosive, volatile, and explosive gases are strictly prohibited from entering the furnace for processing, in order to avoid affecting the service life of heating elements and refractory materials and causing accidents such as explosions.
4. Electric furnaces must not operate at excessive temperatures, otherwise it will shorten the service life of the equipment.
5. Workpieces with excessive oxide scale need to be removed before entering the furnace, and can be brushed off with a wire brush.
6. The workpieces are evenly stacked and kept away from the heating elements.
7. Rough handling is strictly prohibited, and workpieces should be handled with care to avoid impact.
8. When using the electric furnace, the operator must not leave the post without authorization and must always pay attention to whether the working condition of the electric furnace is normal.
9. When loading and unloading workpieces in an electric furnace, the power supply to the heating element must be cut off first to ensure the safety of the operator.
10. The oxides in the furnace should be cleaned regularly, at least once a week or five times a week. Compressed air can be used to blow under the furnace floor.
11. After use, the resistance wire should not be bumped or bent to avoid breakage.
12. The electric furnace motor needs to be inspected regularly, lubricating oil should be added, and attention should be paid to safety during use. The transmission shaft sleeve must be regularly inspected and lubricated to prevent damage to the shaft sleeve due to lack of oil. The use of heating elements should be checked regularly, and the use of instruments and thermocouples should be checked regularly to prevent incorrect temperature measurement caused by errors in instruments and thermocouples.
